How many people do you need for padel?

In padel, you play 2 against 2, so with 4 people. You can also play with 2 people (so 1 versus 1) on our singles court in Brugge and Mechelen, but it's obviously only half as much fun!

What does it cost to hire a padbol court?

Can I hire equipment from you?

Padel

You can naturally hire equipment from us too! Hiring a racket costs €2. You can only buy a tube of 4 balls from us for €9/tube.

Padbol

A ball is included in your hire price, so you don't need to book or pay for anything extra!

Can anyone make a booking?

Yes, anyone with a Playtomic account can make max. 2 bookings! Joining another booking is unlimited.

Can I cancel a booking free of charge?

A player can cancel their pitch or court more than 8 hours before the start. See how to do it below. When you cancel your booking, you will be refunded the amount as you paid it, whether via Bancontact, Visa or credits.

If a player cancels less than 8 hours before the start , they will not be refunded.

‘no show’ without prior notice will not receive a refund.

What should I do before I start playing?

Step 1

The pitch or court has already been paid, so you can go directly to your reserved place. The lighting goes on automatically at the start of your booking.

You can hire equipment on the spot via a Padel Kiosk. This is next to our entrance and only works with cards and app!

Step 2

The lighting always flashes on and off once at the end of the booking. This is the signal to leave the field and allow the next players to come on.

Replace any equipment you hired in our equipment lockers or return them to our bar staff.

I want to play outside the bar's opening hours. How do I get on the pitch?

Step 1

You book as usual, and after your booking is completed, you will see an access code in the Playtomic booking screen, namely a 4-figure code ending with a hashtag.

Step 2

You can use this code from 15 minutes before the start of your booking to get access.

Step 3

You don't need the code when leaving the courts; just use the door handle to go outside.

I want to play outside the bar's opening hours. Can I hire equipment?

You can! Because we have a Padel Kiosk, which allows you to hire or buy equipment from us 24/7. This is next to our entrance and only works with cards and app!

I want to play outside the bar's opening hours. Will I have court lighting?

Our court lighting is linked to the booking system and automatically turns on at the start of your booking.

How can I make a booking? With Playtomic

You can only make a booking via Playtomic. We do NOT accept bookings by phone or e-mail unless they are for groups!

You have 2 options here: via the website or (even better) via the Playtomic app!

How do I create a Playtomic account?

After downloading the app or visiting the website, Playtomic will ask you to create a profile.

Create an account with an e-mail address of your choice, choose a password and find a club! 

How do I find the Arenal clubs in Playtomic?

Step 1 

Click on the magnifying glass with ‘make a booking

Step 2

If you can't find our club in your list, click on ‘around me’ and then type in ‘Arenal’ . 

Step 3

Click the desired result and then on the heart at the top right. Our club will now be on your start screen!

Step 4

Click on the tab ‘book’, select a date and desired time and book your field or court!

Want to buy a credit? You can do that in the same screen!

How do I make a booking?

Option 1

You've already searched for our club in the app and placed a heart: our club is now on your start screen. Click on our club and go to tab ‘book’!

Never searched for our club before?

Step 1 

Click on the magnifying glass with ‘make a booking

Step 2

If you can't find our club in your list, click on ‘around me’ and then type in ‘Arenal’ . 

Step 3

Click the desired result and then on the heart at the top right. Our club will now be on your start screen!

Step 4

Click on the tab ‘book’, select a date and desired time and book your field or court!

How to pay? ‘I pay my share of the booking’

Step 1

After selecting the desired day, hour and field, (see also ‘how do I create a booking’), click on the button ‘divide payment’.

Step 2

Do you know your fellow players? If so, fill in their names by clicking on ‘+’
 

Don't yet know your fellow players? Go to step 3 and ‘share’ (3 staggered dots top right), then your match via WhatsApp, mail, ...

Step 3

Select your payment method: Bancontact, Visa, credits, … and click on ‘pay’.

note:

Your team members have until 2 hours after the booking to pay their share. If they don't, the amount will be charged to the person who made the booking based on their used payment method:

Visa: the remaining amount will be charged to the Visa account of the booker
Bancontact: the booker's account will be blocked for future bookings until the remaining amount has been paid via the app

How to pay? ‘I am paying the entire booking’?

Step 1

After selecting the desired day, hour and field, (see also ‘how do I make a booking’), at the bottom click on the button ‘payment method’.

Step 2

Select your payment method: Choose Bancontact, Visa, credits, … whichever you have, and click on ‘pay’!

Step 3

Share your booking with your friends (via 3 staggered dots top right) and divide as you want via WhatsApp, mail, ...!

How do I cancel a booking?

A booking can be cancelled up to 8 hours before the start by the person who made the booking via the Playtomic app. 

Step 1

Click on the 'man' at the bottom of the screen and then on the 3 vertical dots top right to go to the menu.

Step 2

Click on ‘my bookings’.

Step 3

Select the booking you wish to cancel.

Step 4

Click on ‘cancel

Step 5

Click on ‘yes’ when the pop-up screen appears to confirm your cancellation.

Where can I track the transactions of my credits?

Step 1

Click on the man and then on the 3 vertical dots top right.

Step 2

Select ‘my payment methods

Step 3

Click under ‘club wallets’ your credit whose history you want to see. 

 

How do I share a booking with friends?

Option 1: when making a booking

When completing your booking, click on the button ‘share’ (the 3 staggered dots top right) and then share your match via WhatsApp, mail, ...

Option 2: for a completed booking

On your app's welcome screen, click on the button ‘add’ next to the booking in question.

Do you know your fellow players, and do they have a Playtomic profile too? Add them using the ‘+

Don't yet know your fellow players? Click on the button ‘share’ (the 3 staggered dots top right) and then share your match via WhatsApp, mail, ...

How do I enter the result of a match?

At the end of your booking, you get a pop-up on your smartphone to fill in scores. Click on this and you will be taken to the Playtomic app. Here you can change the composition of the match & enter the scores.
